Park is open each day from dawn to dusk. Camarillo Grove Park, a former stage coach stop and home to the oldest tree in the district, is nestled in a rustic setting near the base of the Conejo Grade at the end of Camarillo Springs Road. The park covers 24.5 acres and was deeded to the Park District in 2002. This a perfect spot for weddings, birthday parties, charity events, anniversary parties, corporate and team building events, school field trips and more This park has five areas that can be rented for groups and events ranging from 50 to 350 people. There is a small parking fee.

Nature Center

The Nature Center is the hub for our Outdoor Education programming and is now open to the public during normal park hours unless being utilized for a program or event. This new facility includes interpretive signage along a trail that provides information about our local ecosystems, flora, and fauna; an interactive water table; teaching deck for programs; nature-based play equipment such as boulders, logs, ant hill, and more; as well as native gardens with braille signs. Please note: Dogs are not allowed inside Nature Center.

Hiking trail at Camarillo Grove Park

Private rentals of the entire Nature Center enclosed facility are available. Schools and community organizations, at a nominal fee, can utilize the facility for outdoor and nature education programming Monday-Thursday. Please contact the office to make a reservation.

Hiking Trail

Welcome to our newly expanded trails featuring an upper trail, lower trail, switchbacks, sitting areas, viewpoints, and interpretive signs. Our trails are open to everyone, but please be considerate of others and keep your dog leashed at all times when using the trails. This park offers multiple options for hiking. The lower loop is an easier gently sloping trail with oak trees, sage, volcanic rock formations, and more. The upper loop is a moderate hike, over 1 mile in length, with an approximate 600-foot vertical differential.

This enclosed dog park is open from 7 am to dusk and features many shaded areas and a doggie drinking fountain. The entire park is also an off-leash park Monday - Friday only. Saturday and Sunday dogs are allowed off-leash only in the enclosed dog park. Please be considerate of others and do not allow your dog to be off-leash outside the designated times and locations. Dogs are not allowed inside Nature Center.
